Good laws can only deliver justice, good governance and development to the people. Drafting legislation should not be considered as mere act of compilation (sometimes even duplication) of words and general confabulations. Drafting legislation is a rigorous task that requires in depth research on the issue and several experts' engagement. Too many amendments and repeals of the legislation, often destabilizing the legal system can be prevented by properly drafting the legislation. Chaitanya Legal Service & Research Center (CLSRC) has been engaging in drafting legislations and subordinate-legislations. Also, CLSRC has done law reviews and handed-over the reviews to the concerned stakeholders, i.e. Member of Parliaments, Member of Provincial Assembly and Representatives of Local Level.
